Dr. Terry Madsen has vast experience as an orthopedic surgeon in arthroscopic knee, shoulder, and ankle surgery. Utilizing the newest minimally invasive sports medicine techniques like stem cells and PRP to optimize outcomes for patients giving them the best results possible. In addition, Dr. Madsen has extensive experience in fracture repair and reconstructive surgeries as well as the ability to perform minimally invasive techniques for conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome, tennis and golfers elbow, and rotator cuff tears. Dr. Madsen also has extensive experience in primary knee, hip and shoulder replacement and revision knee arthroplasty,
As one of the busiest trauma surgeons in the region, he has extensive experience in fracture repair. In addition, he performs reconstructive surgery of the hip and shoulder and knee replacements utilizing the newest techniques available. When conservative spine treatment and other open procedures are required, he strives to perform the most minimally-invasive techniques for conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome, tennis and golfers elbow, and rotator cuff tears.
Dr. Madsen attended the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, well known for its orthopedic department, for his medical school training. He completed his internship with the General Surgery department at the Medical College of Ohio and his orthopedic training at the Medical College of Ohio in their U.S. News “top 40 orthopedic surgery” program. Dr. Madsen has spoken at national meetings and conferences, in addition to providing medical expertise for local and national media including radio and television. He has been selected as one of the best orthopedic surgeons in the United States and as a DFW “Top Doc.”
