"In the middle of Nov 2020, I started feeling fluish with cycles of fever and body pain throughout the day, worsened by shivers during the nights, and tested positive for COVID 19 at Crescent Medical Center, Lancaster, TX. I was advised against any medications. For the next 2 weeks, I followed quarantine guidelines at home, living on mostly liquid diet. Post COVID, I was experiencing shortness of breath (barely able to climb stairs), fatigue and numbness in my left leg. I was concerned of being a long hauler (a term for experiencing long term issues post COVID). Based on some online research to find Post Covid Centers, I met with Dr.Ahsan Ali at Specialty Care Clinics, Farmers Branch, TX. He was very caring, and after conducting a few tests, he ruled out any major issues, and suggested continuing to monitor my condition. BTW – he is great at following up, to ensure all is well with me. I still experience shortness of breath, and mild numbness in my leg, hope I will be able to back to normalcy soon"
